WHY THE PRICE IS JUSTIFIED
The chassis alone would have been unusual near $100 a few years ago; here it is paired with gasket isolation, a tuned PP plate, thick PBT caps, hot-swap, a large battery and QMK/VIA. Minor wireless/VIA rough edges explain the low price better than any hidden downgrade in core construction.
MATERIALS
Provides exceptional rigidity, mass and acoustic stability at this price.
Softens impact and lets the gasket mount move instead of feeling harsh.
Durable caps retain texture and permanent legends.
CRITERIA
IDEAL FOR
- ·Spreadsheet users
- ·Compact full-size desks
- ·Maximum metal per dollar
- ·Numpad users
NOT FOR
- ·Frequent transport
- ·Users needing adjustable feet
DESIGN & ERGONOMICS
The 96% layout keeps a numpad while saving meaningful width; the knob is useful and the marbly sound suits the dense form. At roughly 2kg with a fixed angle, it is desk-bound and may need a wrist rest.
LONGEVITY
The aluminum body and PBT caps should age well; standard hot-swap MX parts are replaceable. Epomaker firmware/support consistency is the principal caveat.
