Dense 15 mm polypropylene pile delivers notable cushioning for €59.99 in Germany. Independent testing found easy vacuuming but a hard backing that moves on smooth floors, making a full underlay essential.
$67 typical
The German IKEA PDP lists €59.99 for the 133x195cm article and recommends STOPP FILT. Produck's independent test reports dense 1.5cm fibres, good cushioning, easy vacuuming and mild spot cleaning, but movement on smooth floors and a hard, not particularly slip-resistant backing. The snapshot is one price, not a researched range, and no FX conversion was applied.
Provides soft synthetic cushioning and practical spot cleaning, but long-term durability versus natural fibers is uncertain.
Supports the low price and consistent pile, with no evidence of repairability.
Off-white, low-pile and quietly textured, it is an easy visual base for many schemes, although the light colour can expose dirt depending on room use. The tested reviewer found the dark grey variant fleck-prone; that criticism does not transfer directly to off-white.
Produck tested the rug for a few weeks, observing comfort, vacuuming and spot-cleaning performance. The reviewer explicitly notes that polypropylene may not be as long-lasting as natural fibers. The rug is not washable, and no multi-year wear or repair evidence was found.
