MARKET NOTE
Observed prices run from ¥2,090 for MOGU to €89.99 for Trtl Plus. Avoid generic plush U-pillows that add rear bulk and leave the chin unsupported. Meaningful spending buys an anchor, structured side brace, asymmetric/H geometry, controllable air chamber, or washable contact layer. Foam is steadier but warmer/bulkier; air is compact but can move and puncture.

Ostrichpillow
Top PickThe asymmetric BASF-foam wrap offers multiple support heights and two sizes without rear-seat bulk. A three-year reviewer reports dozens of comfortable plane naps; dense foam limits packability.

Cabeau
The headrest strap keeps this memory-foam collar planted as the vehicle moves, while the flat back reduces forward pressure. High sidewalls stabilize well but can feel tall and warm on shorter necks.

Overlapping microfiber-filled arms can shift between chin, side and rear support instead of fixing one sleep direction. The entire pillow is machine washable, but its soft bulk consumes more bag space.
