AA, AAA and D-cell compatibility makes this a resilient emergency lantern when charging is unavailable. Its IP66 body supplies three white tones, continuous dimming and up to 1,000 claimed lumens.

The EX-366D combines manufacturer-listed 1,000-lumen maximum white output, three color modes, continuous dimming, candle mode, IP66 protection, 1 m drop durability and support for D, AA or AAA alkaline cells plus an optional rechargeable pack. An independent user reports about three days of warm-high use, but this is not a laboratory measurement.
The full-globe cover is intended to provide shadowless, eye-friendly illumination.
The separate white and warm emitters support the listed white, daylight and warm lighting modes.
Multiple supported power sources provide flexibility when one battery format is unavailable.
At approximately 872 g with batteries, it is substantial rather than backpacking-oriented. The design supports continuous dimming, a full-globe shadowless cover, and inverted hanging through the built-in hook. Independent review evidence also notes that the button can require some force.
The manufacturer specifies approximately 300 charge/discharge cycles for the optional rechargeable battery. The lantern also supports replaceable alkaline batteries in three formats, reducing dependence on one rechargeable pack. The supplied sources do not document a repair manual, replacement globe, or internal component service procedure.
