An 85 g body, magnet and elastic strap put useful light in tight spaces. The IP66 lantern delivers 155 lumens in white and a 50-lumen orange mode that reviewers found less attractive to bugs.
$25 typical
The current manufacturer page and August 2025 manual specify 155-lumen maximum brightness, white outputs of 155/100/15 lumens, orange high at 50 lumens, IP66, 85 g, an 1,800-mAh Li-ion cell and 4–5-hour charging. The manual lists white runtimes of 4/6/30 hours and orange runtimes of 10/160 hours. The manufacturer says the orange/white technology reduces bugs. The observed AUD 35 price is for one lantern; BCF's separate four-pack is a different package.
The manufacturer presents this construction as suitable for workshop, vehicle, emergency and camping use.
The magnet and strap support attachment to metal surfaces and hanging points without extra hardware.
The rechargeable cell powers the lantern's white, orange and flashing modes without disposable AAA batteries.
A top button cycles five modes, while the magnet and elastic strap enable hands-free mounting. The 85-g weight and compact dimensions support pocket carry. IP66 is specified, but the manual says the lantern is not for extreme cold or heat and should be dried after use. One-button cycling is.
Hardkorr specifies a two-year warranty and instructs users not to disassemble or modify the product. The inbuilt Li-ion cell may therefore limit end-of-life servicing, although the sources do not establish a repair policy or battery replacement process. The 2022 GoRV review reports that its four-lantern kit met expectations and praises charging, mounting, brightness and compact storage. Its runtime and output observations concern the reviewed product version and should not replace the current.
