WHY THE PRICE IS JUSTIFIED

The price is tied to a magnesium-alloy chassis, ED objectives, fully multi-coated optics, phase- and dielectric-coated BaK-4 prisms, waterproof nitrogen-filled construction and a wide 8.1° field. Independent testing is favorable but not unanimous: Cornell found a bright, crisp image, while OutdoorGearLab reported dimmer, softer performance than similarly priced rivals.
